Update on Henry's Cardiac Cath

We scheduled Henry's Cardiac Cath for Friday April 24th. Please keep him in your prayers/thoughts for the procedure to go well:) We were told the procedure usually takes several hours and he could be out of the hospital by that evening. Henry had this procedure done several days after he was born which confirmed he was missing pulmonary arteries preventing surgical options for him at that time and confirming his pumonary atresia and VSD. We are preparing for what this test will tell us. One end of the spectrum- no new information and still no surgical options. The other end- growth in the size/amount of Henry's collaterals with possible surgical options. We will keep you posted on what news we hear.

Good news- Julie heard this week that the weekend alt position she was waiting to fill in May is now open! So this means no more night shifts and a much more rested Julie! Julie will now be working 7am-7pm Saturday and Sunday for the next year or so in order to stay home with Henry during the week. So, if you are off during a weekday and are up for a walk and/or coffee give her a call! We know this great place down the street:)
