Henry had a great follow up appointment with CV surgery. Our superhero had SATs of 99!! They cleared him for returning to his usual routine with precautions of taking it slow to avoid falls, continued avoidance of picking him up under his arms and continuing the Ibuprofen and Lasix until his follow up Cardiology appointment next month. They happily discharged him from their care!
Henry had a wonderful time with his cousins trick or treating! He made a pit stop at GoGo and Papa's to enjoy some candy corn and cupcakes, and we headed back to our neighborhood for an evening filled with spooky creatures and candy- was a wonderful evening!
Henry restated therapies with Janet, Kathy and Dee within the school district. They graciously agreed to start slowly with him in effort to build up to Henry's endurance... and Henry couldn't be more excited. He could not be in better hands for this transition! We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we spend what seems like stolen moments with our family together. It is a beautiful thing:). More soon!
Much love and spooky fun,
Kate, Julie, Henry and Gus
