Henry has had a great day at home today... and so have mommas! We all got some good sleep last night, and despite the several midnight doses of medications we were feeling 100% rested this AM... it's a wonder how healing your own bed can be. Good thing because Henry was ready to play today! He explored all his toys and experimented with a few new ones he got from some very good friends:) We're re-learning Henry's language as he can't yet tell us what he wants, and we're establishing a new (and very flexible) routine allowing for Henry to get a little more rest than he needed pre-surgery. Henry capitalized on a perfectly rainy day and took two wonderfully long naps, ate several good meals and enjoyed a pretty peaceful day at home.
We worked out a good schedule for Henry next week that including therapies, and a visit with his pediatrician. So, we'll give Henry opportunity for some good challenges, and have him checked out by Dr. Woody just to make sure he's doing okay. Seems like a good balance... in addition to lots of snuggling and at home time:) With the holidays right around the corner we'll have a nice break coming up together again- don't think I'm not counting down!
Absolutely no new news (smile) other than this. Hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing weekend. We look forward to seeing you all to play sometime soon!
Much love,
K&J
so glad your family is at home now!!
