Henry's Surgery Day #3

Great progress today! Henry is still on the vent, but now in "CPAP" mode and doing most of the breathing work. He's gotten the OK to take the vent off, and they are waiting for him to be more awake in order to do so. He is still pretty sleepy from his previous sedation, which will hopefully be wearing off soon, and occasionally opens his eyes to look around. It is wonderful to see his beautiful eyes:) He gets pretty uncomfortable when he wakes up (for many reasons) but mostly agitated with the vent. We're doing a lot of head rubbing, talking and soothing. We will hopefully be off the vent tonight or tomorrow morning! We cannot wait to hold him:)
