Mommas will sneak out today to work out/eat/shower outside of the hospital with the help from wonderful grandparents. I haven't mentioned how lucky Henry is in this department lately, but the man is surrounded by the most loving people a little boy could ask for (and whom his parents could ask for as well:) It is not easy to see our Henry in this way, when days ago he was running around our house and talking up a storm. It is definitely not easy to know, though he has made huge strides, how critical his condition is right now and know that he is hurting during this process. But our wonderful family has been there each step of the way, and we cannot express adequately how grateful we are for this support. We know that even though all the labs, monitors and xrays can show us how Henry is medically progressing, they cannot measure the wonderful effects of all the prayers, thoughts and positive energy that surrounds him. We know these will continue to comfort and heal him long after his heart is healed and much longer than this hospital stay... which to us is bigger than anything else:)
More soon!

I'm following this as my twelve year old with exactly the same symptoms (22q deletion, PA+VSD with MAPCAs etc) had his fourth major cardia operation last summer. It's real deja-vu. His name's Harrison, which is, as you may be aware, etymologically similar to Henry. Ours even had the same arrythmias post surgery - spooky. So as we say from our side of the pond, the best of British to you, and our love to Henry for a speedy and full recovery.
